Admission requirements: 

A prerequisite for joining the admission procedure is to have any degree "licencjat", B.A., B.Sc., "magister", M.A., M.Sc., engineer or equivalent degree.

Qualification procedure is based on the interview, which examines the candidate's knowledge in the field of undergraduate programme in one of the following disciplines: biology, chemistry, management science.

Recruitment committee can allocate maximum 40 points. The minimum number of credits eligible for admission is 20.

All candidates who have obtained more than 20 points are placed in the ranking, according to the decreasing number of points.

Limit of places determines the position of the last of the accepted candidates.

Description: 

The Interfaculty Master’s Degree Programme “Environmental Management” is a joint initiative of three University of Warsaw Faculties (Biology, Chemistry and Management) in which the prepared, interdisciplinary scientific courses are focused on a modern approach to sustainable exploitation and the protection of the natural environment.

Students of our programme will gather complex theoretical and practical knowledge of legal, organizational and social considerations of environmental protection. They will know biological basis of environmental management and protection as well as problems of increasing level of xenobiotics. Students will also learn the newest analytical technologies and possibilities of soil, water and air improvement and remediation. They will learn financial and economic measures of environmental management and protection, as well as know how to plan protecting activities.
