Secondary school-leaving certificate together with a grades transcript, or any other document issued abroad that entitles to study at university in the country the document was issued + Polish translation of these documents provided by a sworn translator.

English-language first-cycle Baltic Region Studies is a modern and interdisciplinary course of study for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Baltic Sea region and learn about the specificity of research on maritime issues of the Baltic Sea area. The studies provide an opportunity to learn about the region’s rich past, understand its complex environmental conditions, and its past and present political, economic, social and cultural processes. Knowledge from a wide range of fields will be imparted by the best specialists from national and international research centres.
The courses are realised in the Institute of History awarded with the highest possible grade in the latest evaluation of scientific units in Poland (A+), in cooperation with selected specialists – theoreticians and practitioners from other European and national universities.
Our graduates work as:
specialists in research institutions, cultural-educational institutions, local action groups (LAGs) for the dissemination of knowledge, NGOs – dealing with maritime issues and the countries of the Baltic Sea Region,
specialists, animators and participants in multi-faceted international cooperation working in institutions, governmental and self-governmental administration at various levels with an interest in maritime affairs and the Baltic Sea Region,
specialists in the promotion and cultural departments of state and local administration institutions
museums and other cultural heritage institutions dealing with maritime affairs and the Baltic Sea Region.
