9-month preparatory course of Polish language
The 9-month preparatory course to study in Poland starting on the 1st of October (including Polish language and subjects, related to the future direction of studies, only participants of the preparatory course receive a student ID):
a) for applicants pursuing university studies in Poland (an applicant may choose one specialization -humanities, medical sciences, technical sciences, economy or agriculture),
b) for applicants pursuing postgraduate and doctoral studies (permission of the Polish Ministry of Education is required).
Students, who complete 9-month preparatory course are accepted at majority of Polish Universities without the entrance exam. Experience has shown that our students are able to successfully complete their studies in Polish.
Tuition fee - 3.000 EUR.
In case of applicants of Polish origin the tuition fee is reduced by 30%.
Learning begins at different levels. Our students are accepted by majority of higher education institutions without entrance exams.
The School of Polish for Foreign Students of the University of Lodz is the only one educational centre preparing for medical studies in Poland. The course ends with an integrated test exam for medical studies, organized at the request of the Department of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Health in Warsaw.

Candidates for the course can pay for the course or apply for a scholarship. Questions about how to obtain scholarship should be addressed to Polish Embassies and Consulates in the country of candidate residence.

The course is open to Poles, who have graduated from high school abroad and Poles living abroad, who want to study in Poland. The course prepares them to studies in Polish languages, but they apply for admission to study in Poland to the rules applicable to Polish citizens.
