Candidates are admitted on the basis of a portfolio (paintings,sketching photography) and an interview focusing on culture, literature, theatre and graphic arts.

After registering, the candidate must submit the required documents at the Admissions Department in person/through another person/ by post/, including:
application for admission to the Institute; original of the secondary school exit (matriculation) certificate; the documents needs to be certified (the “apostille”); its nostrification (if applicable); certified translation – original; photocopy of the passport; passport-type photo and a photo in a digital format (recorded in the online registration system)
The admission procedure starts after the registration, interview and submission of all documents are completed.
The Department of Computer Arts was created in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Unique on the national scale, the Department helps students develop their artistic skills while teaching them to apply cutting-edge IT techniques.
Graduates obtain the diploma of Bachelor of Arts in the field of Graphics.
The curriculum of study at the Faculty of New Media allows students to gain thorough theoretical and practical knowledge, both in the area of computer techniques and artistic education. IT subjects include: the basics of algorithmics, computer basic computer applications, software engineering, multimedia, creating computer graphics and animation, 3D modeling.
As far as graphic arts are concerned, we put special emphasis on visual forms. Students learn sketching, composition, painting, classical animation, photography and camerawork. They get acquainted with making short film forms, especially special effects made in 3D, and computer animation. The aim of artistic subjects is making students sensitive to visual images as these are important both in computer animation and computer games.
Studies at the Faculty of New Art. Media are interdisciplinary and combine general and specialist knowledge of the following areas:
- Artistic education in visual arts – students gain complex knowledge of composition, painting and sketching;
- graphics – the sylabus includes basic notions in design graphics. Special emphasis is placed on making students acquainted with applications for the creation, designing and preparation of works for distribution using many different channels (media);
- information technology – student learn the basics of working with computers, multimedia, designing WWW pages, organisation and management of projects, creating user-friendly and functional graphical and mutimedia interfaces.
