The Aeronautics and Aerospace field of study (major) provides instruction in the most advanced structural systems using innovative technologies and technical solutions based on advanced materials, computer technology, electronics, and extensive diagnostic systems to ensure the safety and reliability of the flying objects.
The following subjects are offered in the course: mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering graphics and design representation, general mechanics, strength of materials and structures, aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, flight mechanics, basics of electro-technology, basic electronics, basic automation, thermodynamics, basic machine design, construction and design of flying objects, aircraft and aerospace engines, aircraft equipment, aviation and aerospace technology, aviation materials, operation of aircraft, aircraft structural optimisation, operation of flying objects management.

Graduates of the Aeronautics and Aerospace faculty usually work in the following fields:
