Easing of restrictions due to the spread of COVID-19. What will be changed ?
From Friday, February 12th, there will be in power a set of changes in government restrictions due to the spread of COVID-19 in Poland. Are hotels, cinemas, theaters, outdoor pitches, swimming pools and ski slopes going to be opened again? Find the information below!
What restrictions will be changed from February 12th?
- Hotels are going to be opened with a capacity of up to 50%. However, hotel restaurants will remain closed, the meals will be delivered directly to the rooms
- Cinemas, theaters, philharmonics, and operas will also be open in the sanitary regime. The seat occupancy during performances should be no more than 50%.
- Sports activity is allowed in open areas - outdoor pitches, tennis courts, swimming pools, and ski slopes. It will be possible to practice amateur sports outdoors while maintaining the sanitary regime
As a reminder, from February 1st the shopping malls have been working with maintaining the sanitary regime. The senior hours for seniors in stores were canceled. Museums and art galleries have opened their doors to the visitors as well.
What restrictions are still in force?
The following changes are in power from December 28th and will remain the same until February 28th:
- Restaurants, bars, and pubs are closed. Meals can only be taken out
- Gyms and fitness clubs remain closed
- Ban on weddings and parties
- Shops and churches can accept a maximum of one person per 15 square meters
- All people coming to Poland by public transport must undergo a 10-day quarantine (from January 23, people with a negative COVID-19 test result are exempt)
