The program ELECTRONIC AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING is run by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering. It is taught entirely in English.
The main goal of the program is to provide students with fundamental understanding of electronics, telecommunications and ICT, especially with regard to the current state and development trends in these fields. The greatest emphasis is placed on the training in analysis and design of analog and digital electronic systems, microprocessor technology (including software), and optoelectronics, technology and construction of electronic equipment, implementation of modern telecommunications and ICT networks. Students also learn to find, select and verify information from various sources, including electronic sources.
An important purpose of the training is also to familiarize students with the specificity of engineering work, including preparation for group work, for example on team projects.

Students enrolled on the Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering degree program, complete, as part of the curriculum, at least one semester abroad - Mobility Semester (6th semester).
Graduate profile:
The acquired knowledge and skills can be immediately applied in engineering activities typical of the current job market. The graduate is sufficiently qualified to perform engineering work in electronics, telecommunication, ICT and IT companies. He/she can take up employment in production preparation and handling positions. ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING graduates find it especially easy to operate in an international environment because of the program has been taught in English. The graduate is prepared for self-study and lifelong learning, is able to plan his/her professional development, and to pursue a second-cycle degree.
