Foreign Language Center & Polish Language and Culture Center
At the Foreign Language Centre, we believe that acquiring a new language not only provides you with a fresh perspective on the world but also fosters personal growth, broadens mental horizons, and enhances your professional prospects. We have been instilling this belief in our students and learners for over 30 years. Our students can choose from several languages, including English, German, Russian, French, and Polish as a Foreign Language. Additionally, we offer state certification examinations in Polish and international exams such as LanguageCert and TOLES.
Our focus extends far beyond language instruction. We aim for the learning experience to be enriched by a pleasant atmosphere, cultural exploration, and building new friendships. We organize numerous events for that purpose each year, including:
- National Day (where students from a selected country showcase its beauty and culture through presentations, songs, dances, and traditional dishes),
- Poland Day,
- Language and culture knowledge contests,
- Case Study competition for the students of the Faculty of Economics and Management,
- Debate for future economists, mediation for future lawyers, and the “Round Table” for medics,
- Cultural workshops (sessions featuring the culture and cuisine of a specific country, coupled with a tasting experience).
