Description:

Creative Management in New Media is an interdisciplinary degree programme conducted in English, enabling the acquisition of key skills in the field of digital film art and understanding the processes of broadly defined communication in the media sphere. Completion of this degree programme provides the opportunity to work and further develop in modern professions.

The graduate will be a specialist in visual communication and creating social media content as well as a social media analyst. They will gain skills enabling them to run a blog (traditional or video blog), profile in social media, operate online stores and work in various creative agencies, e-marketing departments, or run their own company in the media industry. The student will not only learn how digital media works, but also, most importantly, they will learn how to use them in business spheres. The studies are enriched with marketing knowledge regarding activities promoting external brands and one’s own business. Distinguishing for the programme is not only the theoretical and technical education, but also the practical and interdisciplinary angles. What's more, the programme allows for the skilful use of the phenomenon of media convergence in the graduate's activity. This is crucial in a dynamically changing industry. This is an ideal programme for those who realise the need to combine soft skills with film and television expertise. The graduate's perspectives are diverse and enable employment in a wide range of professions, both based on creativity (blogger, YouTuber) and requiring specific skills in creating multimedia content (in digital and PR agencies, television, radio, Internet portals).
