Graduates have basic knowledge on mathematics and its applications. Their skills include: conducting mathematical reasoning (proofs), particularly clear identification of assumptions and conclusions, performing complex calculations, presenting mathematical contents in speech and in writing, extracting qualitative information from quantitative data, formulating problems mathematically using symbols that facilitate analysing and solving these problems, using and developing mathematical models essential in applications of mathematics, using computer tools for solving theoretical and practical mathematical problems, independent deepening of mathematical knowledge. The graduates are prepared for: work in institutions that use mathematical methods and start 2nd degree studies.
